Riads are traditional Moroccan homes built in a grand style around a
central courtyard. They are usually quite large, with two or three floors of
rooms and suites, plus most have rooftop terraces for additional living space.
Riads are always found in the old Medinas of the cities. Located down narrow alley-like streets,
with high walls and plain facades, their splendor is only revealed once you have been admitted.
While many of the Riads are still private homes, others have been converted into magnificent and
luxurious hotels, inns, or restaurants. Explore the links below for a view of our special Riads.
We include Riad accommodations in our Culinary Tour, Majestic Morocco, Exotic Honeymoons, the Women's
Cultural Tour, our Cultural & Language Immersion experience, and the Photographer's Safari.
